Nicole Buck, owner, animal behaviorist and Master Trainer of Buck’s Dog Training has had a passion for dogs ever since she rescued her first dog in 2000. That relationship started her love of learning about and helping dogs to be balanced and happy members of their family unit! Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, focusing on behavioral & laboratory sciences. She has trained and mentored with several training experts, trainers and veterinarians. Through that process she has learned multiple training methodologies as well as behavioral, physiological and psychological traits of dogs. She has worked with hundreds of breeds of dogs varying in ages and sizes.
Nicole is driven to help people who need service dogs and helping them to acquire a service dog at a more affordable price. In 2020 she implemented a service dog breeding program combining Belgian Malinois with German Shepherds as well as certain great temperament Siberian Huskies with German Shepherds to get the most versatile service dogs who can handle a multitude of tasks. This is all in an effort to provide strong versatile dogs capable of being trained and placed as service dogs for a variety of disabilities.
In addition to being a member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals), she is also a part of several dog and breed rescues including Siberian Husky and Alaskan Klee Kai. She also works closely with a German Shepherd rescue and a local South Jersey rescue organization. Nicole believes in community and giving back to the those around her. She donates her time to several charities and volunteer organizations offering her dog behavioral analysis and training skills as well as her time in general to several worthy causes including several shelters, dog breed rescues, nursing homes, hospitals and women’s shelters.
Buck’s Dog Training, LLC is the company Nicole started in 2013. She has extensive experience dealing with aggression cases based out of fear, anxiety or dominance.
