Who we are
Buck's Dog Training(“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at bucksdogtraining.com, runs the customer-facing pet portal at erp.bucksdogtraining.com, and provides dog training, breeding, and trainer-certification services. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, what your rights are, and how to reach us with privacy questions or requests.
The categories of information we collect
- Identifiers and contact information. Name, email, phone number, mailing address, ZIP code, IP address. Collected from forms you fill out, the pet portal, and the consult phone call.
- Dog and household information.Your dog's name, breed, age, weight, sex, behavior history, training history, household composition, vaccination records, and any relevant medical information you choose to share.
- Commercial information. Records of programs you have booked, invoices, payment history, and refresher session usage. Payment card data is processed by our payment processor and is not stored on our servers.
- Internet and electronic activity. Website browsing data including pages visited, referrer, device type, browser type, operating system, and approximate location. Collected via cookies and analytics SDKs.
- Audio, video, photo, and training records. During board-and-train programs we record short video clips and photos of your dog for daily updates. These are shared with you and stored in our training-records system. Phone calls to and from us are not recorded by default; if a call is to be recorded, we will tell you on the call.
- Inferences. Conclusions derived from any of the above — for example, the recommended training program for your dog or the appropriate operator territory.
Sources we collect from
- Directly from you (forms, email, phone, in-person consult).
- From your veterinarian or another dog professional with your authorization.
- From your device (browser, cookies, analytics).
- From service providers (payment processor, email provider).
How we use your information

Text messaging (SMS)
With your express consent, Buck's Dog Training sends text messages (SMS/MMS) to the mobile number you provide. Message programs include appointment scheduling and reminders, training and board-and-train updates, account and billing notifications, replies to your inquiries, and occasional promotions.
- How you opt in. You consent by checking the text-message box on a form on this website, by providing your number and giving verbal consent during a phone consult, or by texting a start keyword (such as START) to our number. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency. Varies with your activity and program — for example, daily updates during an active board-and-train.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan.
- How you opt out / get help. Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. You can also reach us at the email or phone below. After you reply STOP we send a single confirmation and then stop, except where a message is required to service an active transaction.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, or your SMS opt-in consent, with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only by Buck's Dog Training (and, where applicable, the licensed operator serving your area) to send the messages described above. We retain a record of your consent — including the date, source, and the wording you agreed to — as compliance evidence.
Who we share information with
- Service providers. Payment processors, cloud-hosting providers, email-delivery services, analytics vendors, and the training-records platform. They are bound by contract to use your data only for the services they provide us.
- Licensed operators. If you are routed to an operator-licensed Buck's territory, we share the information needed for that operator to provide your service (your dog details, contact information, program selection).
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, a court order, or a subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers. If our business changes hands (acquisition, merger, sale of assets), your information may transfer with it. The new owner will be bound by this policy or a successor with comparable protections.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the sense regulated by the CCPA, the CPRA, or comparable state laws.
